– We Celebrate –

Annual Program

We organize cultural programs throughout the year on various occasions, providing a platform for our students from SUR–TULIR PATHSHALA to showcase their talents. These events highlight their performances in music, dance, and drama, fostering creativity and confidence among the children.

Basanta Utsab

Every year, on the occasion of Dol Purnima, we host a vibrant celebration to welcome the arrival of spring. Basanta Utsab symbolizes colors, harmony, and joy. We prepare by purchasing colors, sweets, and decorations while planning social gatherings and events. Children, volunteers, and members come together at our organization to play with colorful powders and water, joyfully applying them to each other’s faces, creating an atmosphere of fun and togetherness.

Rabindra Jayanti

On every 25th of Baisakh, we celebrate Rabindra Jayanti with our members and the local community. This day honors Rabindranath Tagore, and we organize a cultural program in his memory. Students of our art school participate in various performances, showcasing their talents while learning about Tagore’s significant contributions to literature and culture. The event fosters appreciation for his legacy and enriches our cultural heritage.

World Environment Day

Every year, on June 5th, we celebrate World Environment Day at our organization, demonstrating our deep commitment to nature and the environment. On this day, we organize tree planation program, awareness program centered by the topic of conservation, tree planting, and water preservation. We emphasize the importance of protecting nature from pollution, global warming, and other threats. Our goal is to raise awareness and inspire everyone to contribute to environmental protection, making Earth a better place for all living beings.

Sunischit Roj Bhat

This is a unique program started from 10th December 2024, wherein we are providing regular Free Lunch to 25 helpless people. This program aims to bring warmth and nourishment to those in need, fostering a sense of care and community. Together, we strive to make a positive difference, one meal at a time, offering hope and dignity to the less fortunate.

Raksha Bandhan

We celebrate Raksha Bandhan every year, commemorating Rabindranath Tagore’s initiative to promote communal harmony. On this day, mothers(residents) of Deb Abas tie sacred rakhis to pedestrians, symbolizing unity and brotherhood. Sweets are shared, and saplings are distributed to encourage environmental consciousness, fostering a spirit of togetherness and respect across communities.
